Online ceramics course

When you purchase one of our online courses, you will receive an email within 15 minutes containing your login details and instructions on how to access the course platform. You can access the platform at any time via the login button at the top right. All courses consist of video lessons, texts, and PDF documents that you can download and print. You will need an internet connection to access the course.

Classes are not live. This means that you don’t have to be present at a certain time. The lessons are professionally recorded and edited, with different camera angles so that you can see exactly what the teacher is doing. You can watch and review the lessons as many times as you like. You have lifetime access to the course. Any improvements or changes made to the course will be made available to you as well.

Tools needed for ceramics

The tools required differ from course to course. Each course includes a clear list of tools, and some courses even include a video lesson to explain what you need. For example, you need a potter’s wheel to learn how to throw clay, whereas to sculpt or get started with paper porcelain, a sturdy work surface is all you need.

For some courses, you can order a set of materials at a reduced price so that you can start using the taught techniques immediately. Read more on the different course pages.

Ceramic firing service

A ceramic kiln is quite an investment and may be too big for one person, especially if you are just starting out. You certainly do not need to purchase a kiln to start one of the courses. We have compiled a list of workshops and individuals worldwide who fire pieces for others in their kilns as part of a firing service.
