Learning online

If you purchase one of our online courses, you will receive an email within 15 minutes with your login information and an explanation of how to log into the course platform. You can go there anytime via the login button at the top right. All courses consist of video lessons, texts and pdf documents that you can download and print. You need an internet connection to view the course.

Classes are not live. So you don’t have to be present at a certain time. The lessons are professionally recorded and edited, with different camera angles so that you can see exactly what the teacher is doing. You can watch and review the lessons as much as you want. You have lifetime access to the course. If there are improvements or changes made to the course, you will get those as well.

Tools needed for ceramics

What you need in terms of tools differs from course to course. Each course includes a clear list of tools or even a video lesson to explain what you need. For example, to learn how to throw clay, you need a potter’s wheel, and a sturdy work surface is sufficient for sculpture or to get started with paper porcelain.

For some courses you can order an additional set of materials at a reduced price, so that you can immediately start using the techniques that are thaught. Read more information on the different course pages .

Ceramic firing service

A ceramic kiln is quite an investment, and may be a bit too big for you alone, especially if you are just starting out. You certainly do not need to purchase a kiln to start with one of the courses. We compiled a list of ateliers and individuals worldwide who fire pieces for others in their ceramic kilns, a so-called firing service.
