Forever learning.

A colorful backsplash in the kitchen, or a fun accent in the bathroom? Making your own tiles is a fun way to add a personal touch to your home. It will take a while for you to make enough of them, but the result is well worth it.

A few tips for those taking on this challenge: choose a clay with plenty of grog . When rolling out the clay, make sure you create an even thickness throughout. And wait until the clay is leather-hard before you cut out the tiles, that way the clay slab won’t lose its shape as much.
