Using a slip trailer takes some practise. Luckily you don’t have to do that practising on a pot, you can also use a board or clay fragment. And once you get the hang of it, you can achieve wonderful results. Practice makes perfect!

Do you have a talent for drawing as well as pottery? Then you should definitely try this technique. All you need is some slip trailers, coloured clay slip and most importantly: a lot of enthusiasm.
