Paper clay

Papier clay is clay to which cellulose fibers have been added. This ensures that your work tears or cracks less quickly while drying and is therefore stronger and more shock-resistant than regular clay. With papier clay, you can also go much thinner, so that paper porcelain, for example, can become translucent. The cellulose fibers burn away during firing.
